Visit Modesto Inc 1) To attract visitors to Modesto by promoting and marketing the city as a convention, sports, tourism, and leisure travel destination. 2) To provide coordination and leadership for the community and the visitor industry on matters relating to convention activity and tourism. 3) To gather community information designed to convey to opinion leaders and the public at large the status of the visitor industry. 4) To work with local government agencies, private enterprises, and other interested parties to structure suitable financing plans for the bureau, and to implement those plans.
