FRIENDS OF THE NORTH MISSISSIPPI REGIONAL CENTER

The Friends Organization uses funds for the benefit of the clients and staff of the North Mississippi Regional Center (NMRC). All funds received come from donations, dues, and raffle sales which are held throughout the year. Money raised by the Friends Organization is used to fund special projects and purchase specialized equipment to enhance the NMRC clients' quality of life. For example, the Friends Organization has funded the building of a deck at the NMRC Activities Building, a pavilion in the center of the NMRC campus, and purchased adaptive wheelchair swings, patio furniture, grills, etc for the benefit of the NMRC clients. The Friends Organization also sponsors memorials, the NMRC's Employee of the Month program, and Employee of the Year program.
