SERIOUS JU JU SKATE WORKS INC INDOORSKATEPARKCELEBRATE AND STRENGTHEN COMMUNITY THROUGH SKATEBOARDINGThank You, Flathead Valley! Because of you, our friends, families, and neighbors—we’ve met our short-term fundraising goal and raised $54,000 in one-time donations. This will keep Serious JuJu open through the current school year! Your generosity and encouragement mean that the skatepark doors remain open, the lights stay on, and kids continue to have a safe, supportive place to gather, skate, and belong. This milestone is worth celebrating, and we received a good increase to our recurring donations, which achieved roughly half of the goal. Thank you for standing with us and proving once again that when we come together, our community can do amazing things. Let’s keep rolling forward—together. With gratitude, The Serious JuJu Team ___________ IN THE NEWS - 2025 YEAR-END NEWSLETTER! INSPIRING OUR YOUTH TO BE UP-LIFTING LEADERS Change starts with our youth. In the face of a growing mental health crisis, Serious JuJu offers free mentoring and skateboarding programs that strengthen families, empower young people, and build life skills for a safe, healthy future. “Skateboarding alleviates stress and takes the pressure off those things that get you down. It’s a place where I don’t have to worry about anxiety and depression. JuJu is like a second home to me.” —Alex, 14. Over the past 18 years, we’ve impacted thousands of lives—but there is still more to do. We need immediate help to continue providing these essential services to our community. ___________“Empowering people to change the world starts within. “ -Rebecca Wilson, Executive Director Skateboarding is about more than just style and freedom; it’s about creating a healthy future for our community. It may not be obvious to those on the outside of the skatepark watching bodies and boards fly, flip, slide and grind over metal and concrete, but there are many ways skateboarding imparts life skills, character, and knowledge.Awareness, Respect, Resilience, Innovation, Self-Esteem, Responsibility, and Kindness —just to name a few. Skatepark operations manager and skate coach, Randy Beckstrom loves seeing the perma-grin on kids’ faces who are truly happy on their boards and sharing the stoke with their friends. “Creating and sharing happiness… it’s where respect and inspiration begin. There is nothing like trying that ONE trick 5, 10, or 30 times until you land it. Or even better, encouraging one of your buddies to land something they’ve never done before. You better believe that’ll stoke your soul!” —Randy Beckstrom, Skate Coach and Skatepark Operations ManagerSERIOUS JUJU IS FREE TO EVERYONE Contact: jujukalispell@gmail.com or 406 885 4566 ANNUAL WAIVERS FOR EVERYONE Click HERE to complete the ADULT WAIVER (18+ only) online. For MINORS (under the age of 18) a parent or legal guardian MUST be PRESENT to sign waiver before minor may take-part in Serious JuJu activities.
