VISIONS ACADEMY CHARTER HIGH SCHOOL For its 5th school year, the Visions Academy Charter High School's ("Charter High School")most significant initiatives included: a) High School Graduation Rate its first graduating class in June 2014 is at 96% of seniors; b) College Admissions Rate 77% of the seniors were accepted to 4-year colleges or universities. The other students were accepted to 2-year colleges or the military. About $400,000 in college scholarships were garnered for its first graduating class; c) Enhancing and Increasing College Exposure In addition to continuing its tradition of offering two college trips a year to every student, the Charter High School continued its initiative to get students on college campuses for more extended periods of time in the summer; d)Charter Renewal its first Charter renewal process was a success; and e)Consolidation Plans the NJ Dept. of Education approved its request to consolidate operations with Marion P. Thomas Charter Schools effective July 1, 2014.
