We intend it to be the best in the country. In 2024, we built a new Cafeteria at Bella Vista Government High School. And in 2025, we are constructing the country's first Tele-Medicine Clinic in San Lucas Village where we will use our satellite capacity to provide modern medical care to people who have no access to adequate health care. "Life is hard. We ran out of food. There's nowhere for us to plant corn, so I can't find corn to eat. I come to school hungry and without money. We don't have lights. My dream is that one day when you see me grown up, I will help your son or daughter. I want to help poor people like my mother. I want to become a soldier and take care of my mother and sister and brother." — 15-year-old, Santa Cruz Village "It has been difficult for me without my dad. He died two years ago. I was the only kid in grade school who didn't have glue to stick pictures on a poster for class. I like to play football but I don't actually have one. My mom can't send me to high school." — 13-year-old, San Jose Vilage "My soul, my heart, my family, and myself depend on this scholarship. We struggle to have something to eat. There's no money to buy anything for school. But I was born to be somebody in the future! I want to help poor people - I will create a path to find their destiny. I'm going to be a pilot! Thanks to you! — 15-year-old, Indian Creek Village Events The 2026 Annual Auction will be at the Tea Room in downtown Des Moines. | August 20 The 2026 Belize Dance Marathon at Theta Chi Fraternity at Drake, March 2026 |
