NPIP ASSOCIATION RISK MANAGEMENT SERVICES PROVIDE THE NPIP ASSOCIATION'S MEMBERS WITH THE TOOLS NEEDED TO CONFORM TO THE PHILOSOPHY SET FORTH BY THE MISSION STATEMENT. SERVICES AVAILABLE INCLUDE: CONSULTATION AND ASSISTANCE IN DEVELOPING A RISK MANAGEMENT PLAN SPECIFIC TO THE INDIVIDUAL MEMBER, CONSULTATION IDENTIFYING SPECIFIC AREAS OF RISK AND CORRESPONDING POLICIES AND CONTROLS, AS WELL AS ON-LINE TRAININGS AND REGIONALIZED SEMINARS. AN ADDITIONAL SERVICE, THE PRE-LITIGATION PROGRAM (PLP), IS AVAILABLE TO MEMBERSHIP AS A CALL-IN RESOURCE FOR MEMBERS SEEKING ADVICE REGARDING POTENTIAL CLAIM SITUATIONS. PLP HAS PROVEN TO BE A VERY SUCCESSFUL TOOL FOR MEMBERS WILLING TO USE IT.
