STREET LAB INC Street Lab is a nonprofit that transforms the street-level environment of New York City to improve lives strengthen neighborhoods and bring New Yorkers together. We use a pop-up approach to do this. We have three main areas of work: we activate public space we develop new public spaces and we design and fabricate pop-up infrastructure that brings new ideas to the street and makes our work possible. We also send programming kits around the world so that others can copy our model.
