CHOREGUS PRODUCTIONS INC The mission of Choregus Productions is to present performing arts that might otherwise not appear on Tulsa stages and to engage the community with visiting artists. Choregus Productions presents a season of performances by world class artists, each accompanied by outreach and educational activities. Since 2006, we have presented more than 150 public performances by artists from around the globe, most of whom had never performed in Oklahoma before. Choregus was awarded the 2012 Oklahoma Governor's Arts in Education Award. Choregus makes an intentional attempt to reach a diverse audience; first by programing artists that come from many different countries and ethnic backgrounds, and second, by using our outreach to ensure underserved audiences can see these artists by removing barriers of costs and transportation. Our outreach audience is 78% economically disadvantaged, 34% Latino/Hispanic, 24% African American, and 18% other non-White ethic groups.
