Ascent Ministries The purpose of the organization is to lead people into the presence of God, to provide opportunities to experience life communing with Him, and to equip them to live and minister out of that reality. Ascent Ministries staff work within communities and colleges to connect members of the church to God through various worship events, retreats, and educational activities. The staff also lead the development of a community of people from all walks of life where the poor are served and valued and where everyone has the opportunity to learn about and grow in their knowledge of Scripture and relationship with God. This community has a strong emphasis on serving the poor, widowed and orphaned, and develops practical means for reaching those in need and providing them with the relationships and resources they need to have a fulfilling life.
