PickensPlancom Inc PickensPlan.com, Inc. educates the public and policymakers about our Nation's dependence on OPEC oil and its impact on our economy and national security. The Pickens Plan offers ways to alleviate this dependency by relying on American energy resources (such as wind generation and the use of our abundant domestic natural gas supply as a transportation fuel as well as for power generation) to displace OPEC oil. Reducing dependence on OPEC oil promotes social welfare and the common good by seeking to increase access to energy and to stabilize energy costs, and permitting the United States to establish and maintain a foreign policy that is not driven by a desire to protect the flow of OPEC oil into our country.
