METROPOLITAN CONTRACTOR IMPROVEMENT PART Plan Center: MCIP has a Plan Center that provides firms with notices of current federal, state, and local public and private projects. MCIP will refer firms to owners and prime contractors who are looking for potential bidders. Firms can access, review and print plans at the MCIP office. Training and Workshops: MCIP also offers estimate training where firms can develop their estimation skills through workshops and one-on-one assistance. MCIP also offers a series of monthly workshops where workshop participants can develop their skills and receive one-on-one assistance. Membership Services: MCIP offers a range of services to members including daily bid information, drop-in assistance, discounted workshops, and one-on-one business coaching on various construction management topics.
