Scooters Pals Our Sanctuary Program was created to care for our adopted out dogs that returned to us with no good options for them to be re-homed. Some were too old and some sick but not terminal. Scooter's has as a condition of adoption that adopters find good safe places to care for their dogs should they no long be able to. Most comply with that contract provision but some do not and those animals need a soft landing place at the end of their life span. We, while continuing to look for alternative owners and homes for these returning dogs, provide a Sanctuary place for them.
