This is completed from four stations located throughout our community.Fire SuppressionThe Hermitage Volunteer Fire Department responds to all reported fires in the City of Hermitage and by request to surrounding communities to preform fire suppression activities.Fire PreventionThe Hermitage Volunteer Fire Department participates in various events and activities throughout the year promoting safe practices to prevent fires and reduce the number of fire related injuries and deaths. RescueThe Hermitage Volunteer Fire Department responds to any technical rescue reported in the City of Hermitage and by request to surrounding communities including vehicle extrications, water rescue, structural collapse, and more.
