MONTANA DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION The organization's primary exempt purpose is the leasing of 16 one- and two-bedroom apartments to low-income persons in a building owned by the organization. The Montana Development Corporation was originally formed in 1991 out of a partnership of three 501 (c)(3) organizations, one of which is the Bloomfield-Garfield Corporation. The other two organizations no longer occupy seats on the board of directors, having voluntarily left the organization. This leaves the Bloomfield-Garfield Corporation as the sole entity authorized to appoint the members to the board of the Montana Development Corp.
