We actively maintain mutual-aid agreements with surrounding communities. We respond to all calls for assistance in a timely and safe manner and render aid using prescribed firefighting and rescue methods. We provide other services to the public in addition to emergency assistance, including, but not be limited to, pre-planning for emergencies, courtesy fire safety inspections for homes and businesses, standby services, and public fire safety education both in the schools and civic organizations. Does the fire department offer fire safety programs? Yes, we provide fire prevention and safety education programs for schools, businesses, and community groups. Benefits include learning valuable skills, serving the community, and camaraderie with fellow members. How can I support the fire department if I can’t volunteer? You can support us by attending fundraising events, making donations, or helping spread awareness about fire safety. How is the fire department funded? Expenses are mainly funded through community donations and fundraising events. While no direct tax funding is provided by local municipalities, we receive support through annual donations as their budgets allow.
