LEHIGH COUNTY HISTORICAL SOCIETY Explore the rich history of the Lehigh County The Lehigh County Historical Society is one of the largest historical societies in America. Our 30,000 square foot headquarters museum, the Lehigh Valley Heritage Museum, is a state-of-the-art climate-controlled facility that houses one of the finest historical research libraries in the state of Pennsylvania. The Heritage Museum includes 6 galleries with more than 13,000 square feet of exhibits. Video Archive Education Get Involved Welcome to the Lehigh Valley Heritage Museum headquarters of the Lehigh County Historical Society. The Lehigh Valley Heritage Museum is open to visitation on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm. The Museum is closed on Sunday and Monday. The Research Library is open for visitation on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm. Friday visitation must be scheduled at least 24 hrs. in advance. To schedule an appointment for a Friday visit, please call 610-435-1074 between 10:00 am and 4:00 pm, Tuesday through Friday. Please schedule at least 24 hrs. in advance.
