Edison Township Memorial Post 3117 VFW Inc Post is a chartered member of the National VFW. A fraternal organization of members who were present in war and hostile fire zones. These combat zones include all of the obvious, EG WWI, WWII, Korea, Vietnam, Iraq and Afghanistan. In addition, other combat zones have been designated by Congress.We are a community service dedicated to ensuring that America's veterans are remembered, recognized and honored for military serviceWe interact with the community through poppy sales, providing school scholarships, addressing local school children on importance of patriotism, military service and active charitable and community events that foster patriotism.Past sponsors fund raising events such as breakfast, music, bingo and other events to raise both awareness and money to be distributed to nearby and disabled veterans in the community.
