HARRY H DOW MEMORIAL LEGAL ASSISTANCE The Harry H. Dow MemorialLegal Assistance FundMission StatementThe mission of the Dow Fund is to provide resources to ensure access to the legal system for Asian Americans who face barriers such as language, race, culture, poverty or immigration status.2021 has gone by so quickly! Like many, our hope is to see the end of the COVID-19 pandemic and eliminate the unique challenges that our immigrant communities have faced, including language barriers, income maintenance, health services, unemployment, discrimination and racism, separation from family and home, and the right to vote. This year, the Dow Fund has increased our grant funds to support essential legal services and advocacy. Below are short videos from two of our grantees sharing about their impact in communities across Massachusetts. With the rise in discrimination and hate crimes towards Asian Americans, we have a responsibility to ensure that our low-income and underserved Asian immigrant communities have the support to fight racism and ensure everyone has access to the resources for a safe, healthy, and brighter future. We are now more committed than ever to raising funds to make sure that immigrants and their families have access to legal services. Your contribution will provide advocacy and pro-bono legal representation in immigration, family, domestic violence, employment, housing, health, consumer rights, public assistance matters, and civil rights. Will support access to justice and contribute today? Make a Donation
