THE EMMANUEL CANCER FOUNDATION INC About The Emmanuel Cancer FoundationHistory Emmanuel Vizzoni was diagnosed with cancer within weeks of his seventh birthday. His parents alternated shifts at the hospital while their son endured grueling medical treatments. In 1983, in Emmanuel’s memory, the Vizzoni family established the Emmanuel Cancer Foundation (ECF) to assist other families experiencing the hardships they endured during and after their son’s battle with cancer. Mission ​Our mission is to give New Jersey families faced with pediatric cancer a place to turn for comfort and relief through free supportive services uniquely tailored to each family: Professional supportive counseling in the home or virtually Assistance with navigating the complex challenges of a cancer diagnosis Grocery deliveries from our four regional food pantries Donations of clothing, household items, and birthday and holiday gifts. Family programs such as educational webinars, support groups, and fun events like virtual cooking classes and family meet ups. Emergency financial assistance for families’ urgent needs like household bills and rental assistance.
