KEVIN ARMSTRONG MD MEMORIAL SPORTSFOUNDATION The mission of the Kevin Armstrong M.D. Memorial Sports Foundation is to create opportunities for underserved students in the Santa Unified School District to reach their full potential academically and athletically. We believe that participation in sports programs can provide children and adolescents a foundation for future success. Through the RUNSTRONG after-school running club, intermediate school children compete each year in 5k and 10k races. Students contribute their effort and dedication. The Foundation and its donors cover race fees, transportation, running shoes, athletic t-shirts and meals. The benefits of RUNSTRONG are clear. Participants have gone on to become successful student-athletes in high school and in college.
