Civic Collaborative Foundation Civic Collaborative Foundation is organized and shall be operated exclusively for charitable purposes within the meaning of Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986, as amended, and to function as a supporting organization of The Baton Rouge Area Foundation within the meaning of Section 509(a)(3) of the Code. In furtherance of these purposes, the Foundation shall support, promote, and conduct activities that strengthen civic leadership, promote innovative problem-solving, foster collaboration among public, private, and nonprofit entities, and enhance the quality of life and social and economic well-being of the communities served by The Baton Rouge Area Foundation through strategic initiatives, partnerships, and philanthropic support. The Foundation shall carry out its purposes by making grants, providing technical assistance, convening stakeholders, and engaging in other lawful charitable activities consistent with its status as a supporting organization.
