COALITION FOR FINANCIAL SECURITY
Data sourced from IRS 990 public filings
COALITION FOR FINANCIAL SECURITY Coalition for Financial Security continued to pursue its mission of educating the public, decision makers and others about causes of financial insecurity and how our country can help more Americans secure their financial future. In 2021, we continued to shine a spotlight on why some families are financial "haves"; while their neighbors of the same income level are financial "have nots." Reasons, uncovered by CFS's own research and others by organization's like JumpStart and LIMRA, include a lack of financial literacy and a lack of contact with financial experts. CFS is seeking to help Americans by advocating for solutions that will empower them with the knowledge and resources they need, including education and access to experts. Our work helps support the passage of legislation requiring financial literacy legislation in schools and helps to ensure all communities have access to qualified financial advice.
