Our goal is to provide a safe, sober, stabilizing environment for women with substance use disorder. Our residents acquire employment, pay rent, maintain the house, attend regularly scheduled house meetings, and are active in the 12-step community of Athens. ​ Freedom From Bondage (FFB) is exclusively for women 18 years of age and older who are motivated to recover from alcohol and/or drug dependency. Each resident must be able to work a full-time job and will have two weeks, from her date of entry, to find employment. Full-time students and women who receive SSI are welcome and will be asked to perform volunteer work as able.We’re excited to share that we received a Spark Good local grant from our local Walmart. This grant will help purchase household supplies. We are proud to spark good in our community! #SparkGood
