THE VISION SCIENCES SOCIETY INC Join Us for VSS 2026 VSS 2026 is scheduled for May 15-19, 2026 at the TradeWinds Resort in St. Pete Beach, Florida. About VSS The Vision Sciences Society is a nonprofit membership organization of scientists who are interested in the functional aspects of vision. VSS was founded in 2001 with the main purpose of holding an annual meeting that brings together scientists from the broad range of disciplines that contribute to vision science, including visual psychophysics, neuroscience, computational vision and cognitive psychology. The scientific content of the meetings reflects the breadth of topics in modern vision science, from visual coding to perception, recognition to the visual control of action, as well as the recent development of new methodologies in cognitive psychology, computer vision, modeling, neurophysiology and neuroimaging. VSS 2026 Pre- and Post-Meeting Events Please consider attending one of these independently organized scientific meetings happening immediately before and after VSS 2026 at the TradeWinds Resort in St. Pete Beach, Florida. MODVIS 2026: Computational and Mathematical Models in Vision, May 13-14 MODVIS is a small workshop dedicated to the investigation of formal models in vision research. For meeting details, see modvis.org. For MODVIS Submissions and Registration, see the MODVIS 2026 page. AVS 2026: Applied Vision Science, May 20 The purpose of the AVS meeting is to gather and highlight the highest quality research in applied vision science.
