NEW YORKS FINEST FOUNDATION INC The Foundation's primary exempt function is to provide scholarship awards to police officers and to children of police officers. The Foundation meets this primary purpose, principally by making contributions to police fraternal organizations which, in turn, use these contributions for scholarship purposes. The Foundation also takes pride in their award ceremonies honoring those police officers who have performed particularly heroic or life saving activities. New York's Finest Foundation, Inc. sponsors community events, outings and meetings which provide a forum for the Foundation to educate the public to the dangers, difficulties and problems encountered by the NYC police department.
