Beyond that, over 71% of the world’s poorest children live in sub-Saharan Africa. These children are left vulnerable and neglected, not knowing Jesus Christ as their Savior. The Solution Christ’s Hope is part of the global Body of Christ discipling and caring for orphans and vulnerable children in Africa. Together, we are supporting their education, nurturing their physical and emotional well-being, keeping them in the care of their families and communities and, most importantly, teaching them the Gospel of Jesus Christ. The Call “Religion that is pure and undefiled before God the Father is this: to visit orphans and widows in their affliction” – James 1:27a There are approximately 2.4 billion professing Christians worldwide and 153 million orphans.
