Andover Lake Management Association Inc Andover Lake Management Association is a non-profit civic and environmental organization whose principal function is that of a landholder which includes exclusive ownership of the lake bottom of Andover Lake among other parcels of real estate in the Township of Andover, Connecticut. In order to protect its property ownership in such land and its value, ALMA also undertakes as a mission the conservation and preservation of the condition of Andover Lake, its beach and surrounding areas and the dissemination of scientific information regarding the health of the lake to the community. Such environmental conservation, preservation and dissemination of scientific information regarding the lakes health promotes the social welfare and common good of the community.
