Once the site of a historic mansion built by former governor William Sprague IV (sadly lost to a fire at the turn of the 20th century), the museum now uses its eight-acre campus to house a number of buildings including our Metz exhibit hall, carpentry barn, blacksmith’s forge, fiber shed, print shop, and carriage barn!OUR HISTORYFounded in 1933LEARN MORE Mailing Address: PO Box 709 Narragansett, RI 02882 Visit us at 115 Strathmore Street Narragansett, RI 02882 PH. 401-786-2442info@southcountymuseum.orgJoin our Email List:SUBSCRIBE Website Design by Georgia Barrett Museum & Grounds Photos by Josh Edenbaum Photography Thank you for your generous support of the South County Museum!
