PARKVIEW OUTREACH COMMUNITY CENTER INC About Parkview MedicalOur StoryIn 2002, volunteers began providing wellness services under a nearby oak tree within the Oakland Community of downtown Haines City, FL.In February of 2009, Parkview Outreach Community Center, a non-profit community organization, opened it's doors for the first time to the local community of Polk County. Offering free medical care services, health screenings and education, food and clothing distribution, and other skills-trainings for the surrounding local residents. Now operating as Parkview Medical Clinic, we still find ourselves nestled right into the heart of downtown Haines City and Oakland Community; eager to serve the underserved and uninsured population of Polk County residents. Fun fact: Our building is now yellow!Our MissionAt Parkview, our mission is to educate and empower the uninsured, and underserved population of Polk County to take full responsibility for their healthcare; and to utilize community organizations, and resources available to them.Our ServicesParkview Medical Clinic offers compassionate medical care through adult primary care services, psychiatric & mental health services with our in house PMHNP, well women visits. and an in-house pharmacy. Parkview also partners with other local organizations to offer specialty referral services through programs to elibible patients. These can include cardiology, gastroenterology, radiology services, labs, pain management, and many others!
