Chebeague Island Council The Chebeague Island Council works to: promote and assist in the development of activities and projects designed to improve conditions important to the inhabitants of Great Chebeauge Island; assist, advise and cooperate with the several duly constituted town authorities in connection with matters pertaining to the affairs of Great Cheabeague Island and to the inhabitants thereof; acquire real estate and personal property and to hold, manage and operate the same for the purposes of the corporation; and maintain and improve medical facilities or services for the people of Chebeague Island.
